Starting your Home Business
When thinking about a home based business it can feel exciting and daunting, but what ever your feeling it is important to know where you are going to begin. Now this might sound obvious but you want to be as clear as you can before you start.
Have you thought about the:
- Type of business that interests you
- Do you want to start slow or jump straight in
- How much money do you have to spend
- How many hours do have to devote to the new business
- Have you researched the niche for interest relating to the business
- What is the competition like
- Does your family support you in your new venture and is willing to give support
- Do you have a business already and want it online
- Do you know how to market a business online
- Are you excited about this business
This list could go on for ever and i don’t want to put you off or bore you to death, but i must stress the importance of where to start is crucial in the beginning to stop you chasing around getting no where and avoiding to much hype which lose money and time.
So here are my top 13 things to do before you start
- Write down a list of markets that might interest you if you don’t know already(brainstorm)
- Find out the interest in this market amount of people searching. you can use google for this
- Look at the amount of competition there is in this market(competition is a good thing) but not to much?
- How long has this business be running is it new or has it been in operation for a while
- Look at the page rank zero is poor and 10 is excellent this simply means the amount of times this has been searched by people and it’s popularity.
- check out the Alexa tools for trends in how it is performing type in the url the website
- Does the business allow for individuality and give support, help desk and phone No
- Does the business come with guarantees if you not happy money back
- If you came by the site as a customer does the site inspire you or leave you flat
- Read all the terms and conditions of what the business offers and expects the clauses
- What is the business actually selling what are the benefits to a client or customer

When researching take your time it is very important that you gather all the information to begin with
Once you discover a business with all the ticks and looks a good proposition you will want to try and contact the person who’s link got you to the site, or support system and write down all the relevant questions you might be concerned with.
Most businesses you join online have a sponsor or upline it is important you feel comfortable with them and can work with them where they will give you support and guidance, because ultimately they will be the main link in the chain to help make it successful for you. Having a upline that you feel happy with and can work with will make it much easier to work along side.
This might sound like a lot of work and research but it will help avoid the scams and join a company that offers real value, a sound business that with some work will give you enjoyment and a good income.

Ps
When i first joined a business i did not do all the research, my upline did not help, i did not know what i was really doing. Spent a lot on advertising and lost $2900 in buying into the business. That is why it is important to do your research
