What is Attraction Marketing
What is attraction marketing and how is this going to help you in your everyday life and how powerful is it going to be to help you in marketing you and your business.
Well in a nut shell it is the ability to attract customers, clients,leads, or prospects in your target market meaning people that are looking for your product or service, by giving them valuable information and not trying to pitch or sell your product directly. What do i mean by this well let me explain by giving you two scenarios.
Let us say that you are a in the service industry, i will pick plumbing i know nothing about plumbing what so ever
You are heating engineer and sell and service boilers and you deal in say 3/4boilers that you regularly sell.
But your customer knows nothing about the boiler only on how much it costs and what it does.
So you sit down and write all about the boiler, for instance how much this boiler will save on your heating bills compared with the other boilers. How to program the boiler, so they can easily set their boiler to the times and days that they want the boiler to work the heating and hot water. How to keep the boiler working with simple tips on what to do if something goes wrong. The advantages and disadvantages if you decide on this boiler. The guaranteed life expectancy and so on.
For me not knowing anything about boilers this would be very useful for me to know about, on how this boiler is going to benefit me and save me on heating bills and maintenance bills and how easy it will be to program for my water and heating and if the boiler goes out, i can read the tips and try and fix the problem myself first, especially if it is a cold day and i can’t get hold of a plumber.
If you have a web site then this can be written and placed on your site for people when they visit, they will be able to read about or if you don’t have a web site you can have a pamphlet that you can give out to your customer enquiries.
You then have positioned your self as an expert on the subject and you are more then likely going to sell your boilers and get the work as opposed to someone else that does not have all this information that you provide and you might be thinking this seems like a lot of work and yes it is but you only have to do this once.
Ann Sieg wrote a book called the renegade network marketer on this very subject positioned towards the network marketers, but can be utilised in any business and the free report the attraction marketing manifesto also goes deep into the explanations of attraction marketing and branding you.
Lets take another scenario you sell tomatoes now you can have a whole post on types of tomatoes and a further posts of information on the different types of tomatoes most people who have an interest in tomatoes, will have all this wonderful free valuable information about the tomato. Can you see how helpful this can be to you because now people see you as an information guru and what ever niche or market you want to be in or are in you can apply this model too.
If you are in a network marketing company and give this kind of free information showing you as an expert you are more than likely to have those people want to join you or buy from.
Applying these skills and giving real valuable information first to your target market you will also be building a list of people that want to know more about your product and service.
