There are two streams of income derived from Network Marketing the products and the business opportunity.

• Marketing your products for the benefits of your consumer

• Marketing your business opportunity to grow a profitable team

Now you might ask what do you market first well lets make it clear you need to obviously market both, but  a good tip is to market your products first because if your products are of value and worthy of price then your business opportunity will be easier to sell.

Let me tell you my story so you can see the relevance of marketing then we will get into the good stuff.

When i came across my company i was passionate about the product. But and more importantly the products were of high value and appealed to literally millions of people, because it is a trillion $ industry.

So i knew with the right marketing our team would do well with this company. But here is a thought make sure you purchase the products taste the products be part of what the company sells and you will market your products better and with more response. You really need to be at one with the products.

Ok now what about the business opportunity well as i said before, once you sell the products many people which have purchased and are extremely happy will want to join your team knowing they can recommend what they have had experience with. So your opt in rate will be high for those that have a desire to earn extra income.

Get some really good offline marketing for your products like some ads and magazines this is a great way to get some interest and sales for your products. Get some cards and brochures made up. Tell people about it but don’t pitch it just mention it in a way to arouse interest.

Selling your opportunity to build residual income.

Your company will have a site for you and likely a capture page but!

• Get yourself a blog for info and branding more info on blog marketing below
  

• Produce a capture page for you own leads for future business as well as your mlm
  

• Show leadership teach what you know even if you are new you will still know more than the average person coming into the industry
  

• Do a launch for your MLM using webinars
  

• Advertise with PPC, Banner Ads and CPV (cost per view) this will cost but if done right can be a low cost per lead
  

• Consider a co-op within the company for leads but only if the co-op is within the company otherwise you will be wasting lots of money.
  

These are the fundamentals for really promoting the opportunity that will gain leads quickly and make you an income fast.

Many of you coming to this site are wanting your own business and having your own business is a wonderful feeling, giving flexibility and freedom to do the things you have always dreamed of.

And there are many many people using the internet today and making a very substantial income. So the internet to make money has that possibility for everyone.

But i want to say to all of you keep away from the hype that is constantly being thrust at you from every direction, you will not make thousands in just a week unless you are extremely lucky. Look at it as though you are doing the lottery only the very few ever win big.

You must consider this as a business that has to be worked and the rewards will come.

If you are new then i would encourage you to learn the marketing techniques needed for an online business and would recommend about a 3 month period to really get the basics on what and how to do it, that should be enough time to get you confident in moving forward, as you will be learning it is really important that you take action as you learn.

Secondly if you are ready to join or build a business and i am focusing on a network marketing business not your own, you want to give at least 3 months again to start seeing a relatively good income as most of the time in this business you will be interacting with leads and initially theses leads wont always be keen to join, even though they may have expressed an interest. So it is really important not to get despondent as many network marketers will give up after just a few weeks, if rejection seems to be happening. It is imperative to acquire the phone skills and this will come with practice so expect a loss in the beginning.

Once you have got over the hurdles you will start to make that freedom of financial stability become a reality so stay focused and confident.  I know this at times can be really difficult and you will want to just jack it in and go back to your day job, this is just a natural feeling so once this feeling appears remember why you are doing this the purpose and the desire you have to improve your lifestyle.

Remember to be optimistic and visualise the future you see for yourself.
